Collaborative Divorce
Collaborative divorce removes the adversarial element embedded in many divorce proceedings, and replaces it with an approach that consists of mutual respect and team problem solving. It is a new divorce process that requires an up front commitment to resolving disputes by negotiation, compromise and agreement. If either party moves the case toward litigation, both lawyers will be disqualified from representing their clients in the litigation. If the parties can't reach agreement, both attorneys must withdraw.
